Fees

Location hirers are required to pay a library fee of £395.00 plus vat per location used for filming whether it be for a half day or for several weeks and library fees are charged on a per contract basis. Locations booked with less than 7 days notice are required to pay a premium library fee of £595.00 plus vat. There is a sliding scale for Stills Photographers wishing to use library locations therefore please contact us to discuss your project in more detail. Please note that the Library fee is separate from the Location hire fee for the hire of the location itself.

Location owners are required to pay a referral fee of 20% plus vat on income earned through their property being used for filming or stills photography as a result of their inclusion in Yorkshire Locations library. We always negotiate the best possible fee on your behalf.

PLEASE NOTE that Yorkshire Locations stipulates in our terms of business that all location hirers using locations for films, tv programmes (excluding docs), commercials, promos, events and stills shoots of 15 or more people MUST have a professional location manager or events manager on site as organised through Yorkshire Locations and that all of the relevant authourities - councils, highways, neighbours etc have been contacted. This is standard industry practice and in the best interests of location hirers and location owners alike.
